July 06, 2004 - 1:25 pm FIreworks were more than normal. I sat on the Bridge of Madison County and watched them pretend to light up the sky. Russia walked by with love laced in his fingers and he only has one mind these days. One more cowboy down for the count. I felt the heat from my suntan and then looked at my hands- I moved each one slowly, surprised at the command I posses, apologetic to the callouses for lack of true care given, fascinated at teh roads and highways I have on my very person. Red blue greenorange I named each one and watched my family and loves spread themselves across the sky, burning bright and falling fast. They save the best for last.
